I have requested the information using that very email link but perhaps I have been too impatient for a reply. Anyway it's good to have a name to go with the email address as well. I will, most certainly, share any information that I receive with the group.

I've crawled around this site over the years and always found great information so I thought that I should join in. I'm thinking of taking a luthier course with a local guitar builder here so you'll see me asking lots of questions in the future about kits and tools. Cheers, Barrie.

Michel has always come through for my questions. Your S&P sounds something like my Norman ST68. It has a solid spruce top, solid Indian rosewood back, and (I think) laminate rosewood sides. It is a sweet-sounding guitar.

BTW, I also have a Simon & Patrick Songsmith Folk, a model which just came out last year. It has a solid spruce top and lam cherry back and sides. Again, a really good sounding guitar and a lot of fun to play. Very comfortable.
