Rule #6: Homework / Educational Questions must display effort. I am in the home stretch in my studies for the v5 lab and have the opportunity to attend a bootcamp paid via work. I am wanting to schedule the lab around late September or early October, but haven't due to getting a bootcamp scheduled. So here is my question.
What have you heard about the 3 big training companies bootcamps? (INE, Micronics (Narbik), and IPExpert) If you have attended one, what was your opinion? How many mock labs did you do during the camp? How much was hands on CLI vs lecture?
How much 1 on 1 time did you have to work with the instructor? From my research online, I have seen nothing but amazing reviews about Narbik. Unfortunately, the schedule for his upcoming camps is not quite as good for my plans. I haven't read anything recent about INE's bootcamp, at least for the v5 content. I have read hit or miss reviews about IPExpert.
I have used INE's All Access Pass and their workbooks, completing all but mock lab 2 so far. I'm saving it for a date closer to the exam. I know Brian McGahan lurks around here sometimes; how diverse is the material in the bootcamp from the workbooks?
Throw me anything you have heard, person experiences, rumors, 'Hey I heard the instructor spits when he talks, so don't sit in the front row', whatever. Edit: I am referring to on-site, instructor-led training, not recorded trainings.
Unfortunately, I can only give you another v4 opinion, but that might work in your favor due to some things that I can now talk about. I had both the 360 membership as well as ine for odd political reasons. I attended both bootcamps. 360 and any vendor that offers their bootcamps are very constrained.
